X-Ray / sEMG / MRI / CAT SCAN

X-rays allow the doctor to literally see the spine. These X-rays are reviewed BOTH medically and chiropractically. The medical analysis rules out fractures, pathology, and abnormalities. The Chiropractic analysis reviews segmental and sectional misalignments, postural distortions and patterns, and indicate the degree of damage and degeneration the spine may have endured.

All X-rays are taken and processed on-site in our custom designed x-ray facility.

We also utilize surface electro-myography (sEMG) to measure the function of the nervous system by way of the para-spinal musculature. Balance of the nervous system is one of the primary goals of our office.

These analyses are extremely important to ensure the safety of the care, determine the extent of breakdown of the spine, and determine appropriate recommendations for care.

Depending on the findings, the chiropractor may send the patient to an outside facility for an MRI or other imaging study of the back.
